A great way to look after your older Ventile garments and other 100% cotton or leather garments is to use our Skjold™ Bees Wax as coating.

Other applications other than garments is; leather products, fine grain wood and also as a floater for your dry flies.

Dust off old dirt and stains, using a clean wet sponge – clean the garment for old dirt and stories. Once the garment is dry (or slightly damp) apply the bees wax to the garment with a soft shoe polish brush (clean) and work the wax in to all the seams of the garment. You cam also use baking paper to lay over the garment and then iron gently on low heat to work the wax into the garment with a perfect result.
The Skjold Bees Wax can also be used for leather products such as belts, leather boots and shoes. Apply sparingly for best results.
